Abigail entered the room with a shy little smile on her face. She was quickly drawn to the beads we had and enjoyed making herself a lovely necklace.
Her caregiver described her as having a gentle nature and that certainly came through. She quickly and quietly did what was asked of her then looked up with a shy smile to see if we were pleased with what she did.
Abigail is 8 years old has hydrocephalus and mild anemia. She may have some developmental delays. She is receiving speech therapy and occupational therapy.
She loves to roller skate and is learning to play Japanese traditional drums. She likes order and schedule and finds it frustrating to try to do homework when too much is going on in the room.
We absolutely loved this precious, giggly little girl. She will be such a treasure to her family! Could Abigail be your daughter? Please contact mary.chapman@gladney.org for more information.
