MATCHED! Academic Annie {Taiwan} Needs Family

MATCHED!

Annie is almost 8 years old. She is a lively young girl, but don’t be surprised if it takes her some time to warm up to strangers. Annie is able to form meaningful relationships and when she is comfortable, she will share her feelings and stories about school with her caregivers. Annie recently won the academic progress award at school!

Her caregivers say she helps around the house with light chores, and loves drawing very much. She prefers static activities such as reading books, drawing, and working puzzles. She has learned quickly how to work puzzles and can now complete 80 pieces by herself! We also hear that she is able to recite the 12 Zodiac signs. Clever girl!

Annie is diagnosed with ADHD and takes medication which has been helpful. Her caregiver has noted she is better able to follow rules and has more stable emotions. Annie also receives extra Mandarin and mathematics classes 3 times per week.  The future is bright for Annie.
