From the Graduate
Adoption to me means a fresh start by giving kids a second chance to have a normal life. Being adopted is a different and unique story that makes me different and unique. It has shaped me to want to help give others a second chance. Also, I have reconnected and visited with my older siblings, who were also adopted by other American families, which meant a lot to me. I have learned that it’s not where and how you came to be, it’s where you are headed.
