Parent Quote
We will never forget March 16, 2004. We arrived at the placement room at the new Gladney Center. Her transitional family was quite emotional to lose her, as they had become quite attached. We were all crying as she placed her in my arms. I remember staring at her beautiful red hair, porcelain-perfect skin, and her sparkly eyes, she looked like a baby doll! Katelyn came over and said “Hi Sister” she kissed her forehead and then ran back to the play area! We all laughed and then we were a family of four!

Adoption provides additional opportunities to create a successful life. My parents informed me I was adopted at an early age, so I grew up knowing how much I am loved. I’d like to thank God for knowing my story, Gladney for pairing me with my perfect match, and my transitional care family for keeping me safe and snuggly. Thanks to my family for supporting me no matter what. Lastly, I’m appreciative to my birth mother for enduring this difficult decision of giving me a life she couldn’t provide. I love where I am today, and I’d never change a thing.
