# Celebrating Strong Partnerships: Upcoming Superkids Trip to Cathwel and Chung Yi

At Gladney, we are proud to work alongside exceptional organizations that share     
our commitment to finding loving, permanent families for children. Two such     
partners, Cathwel Service and Chung Yi Social Welfare Foundation, have been     
pillars of our international adoption work in Taiwan for 17 years, and their     
dedication has helped bring hope and stability to hundreds of children.  

Cathwel Service has been a trusted partner in 80 placements over nearly two     
decades. Their children’s home, Jonah House, welcomes children of all ages, and     
Cathwel facilitates adoptions not only for children living in Jonah House but also     
for those in other children’s homes, foster care, and even domestic adoptions     
within Taiwan. Our first Superkids visit to Cathwel in fall 2015 was memorable,     
though interrupted by a typhoon, allowing us to see just four children on our last     
morning in Taiwan. Since then, we’ve completed 10 in-person Superkids trips to     
Cathwel and stayed connected through several virtual visits during COVID.  

Similarly, Chung Yi Social Welfare Foundation has played a vital role in 113     
placements through Gladney. Their children’s home provides care for children of     
all ages, and they facilitate adoptions for children living in their home, other     
homes, foster care, and domestic adoptions within Taiwan. Like our first trip to     
Cathwel, our inaugural Superkids visit to Chung Yi in fall 2015 was cut short by the same typhoon, but it marked the beginning of a strong, enduring relationship.     
Over the years, we’ve conducted 10 in-person Superkids trips and numerous     
virtual visits to stay connected with the children and staff.  

These partnerships reflect more than just numbers—they represent lives     
transformed and families united. Through collaboration, compassion, and a     
shared vision, Cathwel and Chung Yi continue to be invaluable partners in our     
mission to ensure every child finds a forever home.
