This past weekend at Gladney's January Board Meeting, we celebrated the career of Ellen Wilson, Gladney's CFO for 19 years. Although Ellen's primary role has been to keep us on budget, which is not always a fun job, she did it with compassion and with a focus on what was most important, the best interest of a child.  Ellen wore her emotions on her sleeve (rarely seen amongst CPAs) and there was no greater evidence of this than when she welcomed in her first two grandchildren who were adopted through Gladney and our New Beginnings Foster Adoption program. 

Evee, as her grandchildren call her, will be taking on a new role at the end of February, when she becomes the CGM (Chief Grand Ma).  We have all learned so much from Ellen and her leadership and dedication to adoption will be felt for generations.
