Parent Quote

Erin_BabyThe first time we met you was on a cold December morning, the day after you were born. You had passed your due date, so we had been waiting days to get, "the call." We jumped in our car and drove like the wind to Louisiana where we finally got to hold you in our arms. Dad and I were so excited, and yet terrified at the awesome responsibility of caring for such a tiny little you. We couldn't wait for you to meet the rest of your new family and friends. Our adventure as a family was just beginning, and we were so blessed to have you!

From the Graduate

Being adopted has allowed me to not only be loved by one family, but two. My life long best friend was also adopted from Gladney and it's a strong bond that's unmatched. It's shown me a different side to growing up and I've loved every second of it.

About Erin

Erin is a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School where she focused on visual arts and was the design editor of the yearbook. She will attend the University of North Texas in the fall and will study interior design.
