From the Graduate
I've grown up knowing I was adopted. Being the oldest of three kids, all adopted from Russia at different times, I've experienced adoption from the eyes of a baby being adopted to the eyes of a child traveling with my parents to adopt a younger sister and later a younger brother. Adoption just seems natural to me. I value my story and my heritage. It is a part of who I am, and I appreciate knowing I can be a person with a unique background and a kid from Texas at the same time.
