Parent Quote
The first time we saw our daughter, it was love at first sight. She was beautiful, tiny, and so very precious. I remember her precious fingers, expressions, and sweet smiles. She was so sweet: we all just wanted to hold and love her. We were so happy to also meet her birth mother, parents and her transitional caretaker. It was a dream to bring her home that very special day. She has been an answer to our prayers and a dream come true. Jenna is so much JOY and we love her so very much! We are so proud of her and all of her many accomplishments, especially her huge and caring heart.
From the Graduate
As a Gladney baby, I have always felt loved and cared for by my family. And knowing my biological mother wanted the best for me, makes it better. Growing up, I never viewed adoption as a negative thing and I felt happy to tell people around me that I was adopted. Of course, as a child I questioned different things about my biological mother and where I came from. I have been happy to be a part of Gladney's community and help out with different events/activities for adopting families. Further, I view my parents adopting my brother and I as a beautiful thing, because parenting isn't easy. I have always felt love from my parents and family.
