Jolie - Superkids Update

Written by Superkids Team | 12/22/23 5:30 PM

Jolie is a sweet, smiley, cuddly little girl who is almost 6. She had everyone in the room smiling and giggling with her as she enjoyed the time we spent with her.

Jolie is going to need a family who will see her potential and help her to reach it. She has cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and hearing loss. And yet, and yet… she is so sweet, happy, and precious. No matter what Nancy, our pediatric physical therapist, did with her she smiled and giggled. She seemed so happy to be the center of attention! Can you imagine how much joy she is going to bring to her family some day?

Jolie lives in a nursing home that is mostly for elderly people. There are only a couple of kids there. Prior to moving there she received therapy, but no longer does since being placed there. She can roll over and crawl by herself. She vocalizes but is not yet saying any words.

The thing her caregiver kept saying about her is that she is easy to care for. She likes toys that make sounds. Her favorite foods are small cookies and porridge. She enjoys watching Disney cartoons.

As we are all getting ready for Christmas and gathering with our families, think of little Jolie. She could be part of a happy family some day. Could she be the missing piece in your family?

***There are grants available to the family who matches to Jolie to help offset some of the adoption expenses.***
