MATCHED!

We are so excited to introduce you to Julia! We have lots of adorable photos of 6-year-old Julia that we can’t share publicly, so please be sure to join our Taiwan Waiting Child Advocacy group on Facebook to see them!

Waiting Children - Gladney Center for Adoption

Julia recently celebrated her 6th birthday and is described as active and full of energy, with a strong curiosity. We hear that she is quick to voluntarily explore new things when she is around familiar people. Julia is also enthusiastic to help others and especially likes taking care of younger children. She has a good memory and can even narrate creative stories. What a clever girl! Julia prefers the outdoors and physical activities. She also likes engaging with animals like cats and dogs but is afraid of crabs. She has a great appetite, and we hear that she can eat 15 fried dumplings in one meal!

Julia lives with a foster family and has experienced her foster brother’s international adoption procedures, including his video meetings, and receiving gifts. She is aware that she will not stay in the foster home forever and has agreed to finding new parents and a new home. Julia receives occupational therapy to address her borderline delayed development of gross motor skills and language expression but is otherwise medically healthy. She attends kindergarten and adapted well to her new school.

We still have much more information on Julia so please contact  superkids@gladney.org for more information! Could your family be the one she needs?
