Meet Kaeleb, a Superkid

Written by Superkids Team | 5/5/21 2:38 PM

We are back with more updates on 'super' Kaeleb! We have met Kaeleb several times over the years and have tremendous amounts of information on him. If you want to learn more about Kaeleb, don't forget to tune in for our Facebook live presentation on Thursday, May 6th!

Kaeleb is a quiet 5-and-a-half-year-old boy who is quick to comfort other crying children and tells his caregivers 'I love you'. Kaeleb has shown many improvements since we last met him. For example, he is walking more stable now. He used to drag his foot a little bit which shows he is really learning from physical therapy! We hear that he has also gotten better at expressing his emotions and listening to and following directions. Keep up the great work Kaeleb!

Kaeleb is also very willing to try new tasks. He even clapped for himself when he was successful at matching colors! So cute 🙂! Kaeleb can speak in full sentences, but sometimes he tends to be quiet and reserved. On our Zoom call with Kaeleb he told us that he likes French fries and carrots and thinks that school is fun!

Kaeleb is suspected to be on the autism spectrum and exhibits some developmental delays but is otherwise a healthy young boy! He receives physical, occupational, and speech therapies each week at school. Kaeleb needs a little help getting ready in the morning for example help with brushing his teeth and has not yet started potty-training. We still have much more information on Kaeleb
