MATCHED!!

Introducing a new sibling group! To view additional pictures and videos of these adorable siblings, please request to join our Taiwan Waiting Child Advocacy group on Facebook

As of today, in November 2021, Jane is 8 years old. She has a lively and generous personality! Jane has her own ideas and is courageous when trying new challenges. We hear she is independent with a delicate and sensitive mind.

Jane learns well by analogy. Her foster mother often teaches her with hands on practice throughout daily life. Once she understands something, like a new game, she can abide by the rules and requirements. Her favorite toys are cars. Jane has been diagnosed with developmental delay and ADHD. Since beginning medication, both her learning motivation and grades at school have improved. She has also made more friends and improved her self-confidence. Her file also notes mild anemia and mild thoracic scoliosis. Her doctors have suggested monitoring her diet and making sure she maintains good posture.

Jane has a younger brother Jude, who is almost 7 years old. Jude is honest, straightforward, and adorable. He is very easy-going but can be passive at times until reminded by adults. Jude is able to find amusement in his own way which means he sometimes does not pay attention to the correct way of playing games and toys. He is content and happy playing by himself. Jude currently likes the cartoons “Robocar Poli” and “The Octonauts.” When he is emotional, he can be comforted by his foster mother with a hug.

At present, Jude has finished speech therapy and continues occupational and physical therapy 4 times a week, 30 minutes each time. Jude has been diagnosed with ADHD and takes medication daily to help improve his attention. He's currently learning subtraction by two digits and is doing very well! He has been attending school every day by virtual classes since the pandemic.

Jane and Jude like riding bikes together. Jane is able to ride with two wheels and Jude is eager to graduate from his tricycle! The foster mother thinks Jane and Jude have complementary personalities. Jane's initiative plays a role in leading Jude to explore new things in daily life. Jane and Jude are currently living together in the same foster home. It is expected they will be adopted together. To learn more about this amazing sibling group, please contact superkids@gladney.org.
