Seven-year-old Willow from Taiwan is a lively and cheerful girl who tends to make herself right at home wherever she goes. She adapts well to new environments, enjoys exploring new experiences, and isn’t even the teensiest bit shy about showing what she can do. Willow has a bit of a competitive streak (future Olympian?) and enjoys the opportunity to demonstrate her abilities.
Like many kids, Willow is especially motivated when she expects to do well. When things don’t go her way, it can be challenging, but she is able to calm down, reflect on what happened, and accept guidance when adults provide clear support and boundaries.
Willow enjoys plenty of creative and hands-on activities. Some of her favorites include building blocks, drawing, puzzles, crafts, singing, and dancing (she even performed two dance routines recently)! Her hair is also one of her favorite creative outlets and she’s always coming up with wonderfully unique ways to style it because creativity doesn’t have to stop at crafts! She also enjoys reading picture books and is a fan of animated characters like Ultraman, Doraemon, and Kuromi.
And then there’s the bed. Some might assume it’s only for sleeping, but Willow’s got our vote for using it as the best substitution for a floor mat (again, future Olympian?).
Willow’s energy, creativity, and willingness to try new things keep life interesting. The right family for her will appreciate her creativity, cheer for her mattress cartwheels, and provide the guidance and boundaries that help her continue to grow and thrive.
