Parent Quote
We got the call that Riley was coming in the middle of a movie. We dropped our popcorn and drove as fast (and safe) as we could to be in Fort Worth for his arrival. Little did we know that two days later (placement day), our country (and our world) would forever change with the events of 9/11. We experienced a whirlwind of emotions – blessed to have our beautiful boy home, shocked and saddened by what happened in NYC, and humbled by the showing of unity from our nation.
From the Graduate
Adoption is a wonderful way to help a baby find an amazing home. Gladney was able to find a wonderful set of parents who have loved me unconditionally. With their help I have been able to achieve so many things. I wholeheartedly support the idea of adoption and feel that it has been a huge part of making me who I am today.
About Riley
Riley built bridge railings at a community nature park, earning him Eagle Scout rank - the highest rank for Boy Scouts. He played all four years of football and track at a powerhouse school in Texas, all while balancing a full workload of advanced placement and honors courses. After graduation, Riley will be attending college in the future. All of this was made possible because he was adopted by a loving and supporting family that continues to be so proud of him.
