Parent Quote
our family of four. From day one we knew she was meant to be our daughter. She
lives a life that has such a love and compassion for others and a sense of joy that we could "see" that in her even as a one year old during those first few days in China. We were truly blessed for the opportunity to adopt our second daughter.
From the Graduate
I have had opportunities to tell about my Gladney adoption story through my artwork. My photo, "The Unbreakable Thread from the Unknown" was inspired by the journey my parents took that led to my adoption. It was chosen for the Hays Five State Photography Competition and Exhibition. I have also had the opportunity to create and submit a series of artwork about how my identity and experiences have been shaped by my adoption journey. This series was part of my National Young Arts Merit winner submission and my college portfolio.
