The SuperKids Adventure Program by the Gladney Center for Adoption is more than an opportunity to welcome a child into your home—it’s a chance to build meaningful relationships and share life experiences. In Summer 2025, children from Colombia and Taiwan will spend 2-3 weeks with families across the US, fostering connections that could last a lifetime.
Families from Florida, Illinois, Missouri, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Utah will participate in this enriching exchange, learning from the children as much as the children learn from them.
Shared Experiences, Lasting Connections
The SuperKids Adventure Program isn’t about changing lives from a distance—it’s about coming together, sharing stories, and growing through mutual experiences. Whether it’s preparing a favorite family recipe together or learning a traditional Colombian or Taiwanese song, these small moments create deep bonds.
For children, this program is an opportunity to experience daily life in a new environment, while families have the chance to understand the unique stories, personalities, and cultures that each child brings with them. It’s a journey of discovery—for both the children and the families involved.
Who Are the Children?
The children in the SuperKids Adventure Program come from Colombia and Taiwan. They range from school-aged kids to teens, and include both individual children and sibling groups. All are eligible for international adoption, and many have minor medical needs or are medically healthy.
These children have diverse backgrounds and stories, and the program offers them an opportunity to experience life in a family setting, while giving families a chance to get to know them in a personal, meaningful way.
Who Are the Families?
Families from Florida, Illinois, Missouri, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Utah participate in the SuperKids Adventure Program. These families are interested in building authentic relationships, learning from new cultural perspectives, and exploring the possibility of international adoption in an open and supportive environment.
Gladney provides resources and support throughout the program to ensure both the children and families feel confident and connected every step of the way.
