Gladney Superkids Team Discusses Kip {Taiwan} on Facebook Live!

Written by Superkids Team | 8/12/20 5:23 PM

Gladney's Superkids team met Kip in Taiwan in November 2019 and we are excited to announce that we have just received significant updates to his file! We now have extensive photos and videos of Kip that show his personality, him performing tasks that capture his fine and gross motor abilities, playing doctor with his toy bear, and much, much more!

Since Kip's last advocacy post, we have received many updates and learned so much more about him! As you already know, six year old Kip is a lively and out-going child who gets along well with others and is very friendly. Our updates still reflect these personality traits. Kip is able to follow the rules at school and at home, and he can clearly express his needs and wants. Our updates indicate that Kip has shown improvements with his fine motor skills and is no longer taking medication for ADD. He is able to focus for extended periods of time and has made great progress with completing tasks. Way to go, Kip!  Kip is slightly behind his peers with cognitive, social, and emotional development but he cooperates very well with others and is able to control his behaviors. Kip attends a special education school and had been receiving early intervention therapies up until February, 2020 when they were stopped due to COVID. Kip is diagnosed with hypothyroidism but with medication and regular follow-up visits, his condition is well maintain without any complication. Kip has been waiting long enough. Could he be your son?

Please join us tomorrow, August 13th at 12pm EST, on Facebook live as we meet with Gladney Superkids team.
