At Gladney, we are thrilled to announce our new partnership with a remarkable children's care facility in Pattaya, Thailand. This partnership strengthens our commitment to advocating for children worldwide by connecting loving, qualified families with children who need homes. Our collaboration with Pattaya is currently focused on finding families for children between the ages of 5 and 6, who are waiting for adoption, with minor to no medical needs.
Exceptional Care for Children in Pattaya
What stood out to us during our visits was the exceptional care the children in Pattaya receive. The staff is deeply committed to the well-being and happiness of each child. They work tirelessly to provide nurturing, supportive environments where children can thrive as they wait for their forever homes. The attention to both physical and emotional health ensures that each child is well-prepared for the next chapter of their lives with a loving family.
In February 2023, Gladney's International Advocacy and Thailand Program Director, Sarah Hansen, visited the Pattaya facility alongside Diana DeGroot, our Vice President of International Programs. Their visit allowed them to witness firsthand the incredible work being done by the caregivers, which left a lasting impression on both of them. In December 2023, Diana returned to Pattaya, this time joined by Gladney CEO, Mark Melson. Although we don’t have many photos from their visits, their stories and observations continue to inspire our work and fuel our dedication to these children.
Actively Seeking Families to Join the Program
We are currently recruiting qualified families who are open to adopting children in the 5-6-year-old age range. This is a special opportunity for families who meet specific criteria to be matched with a child from Pattaya. Prospective Adoptive Parents (PAPs) must be under 46 years of age and can have one child or no children currently in the home. These "older" children bring so much joy and potential, and it’s our mission to connect them with families who can provide a nurturing, supportive environment as they grow.
