At Gladney, we are thrilled to announce our new partnership with a remarkable children's care facility in Pattaya, Thailand. This partnership strengthens our commitment to advocating for children worldwide by connecting loving, qualified families with children who need homes. Our collaboration with Pattaya is currently focused on finding families for children between the ages of 5 and 6, who are waiting for adoption, with minor to no medical needs.

Gladney's New Partnership in Pattaya: Expanding Opportunities for Families and Children in Thailand
Adopting a child with a trauma history often means navigating unique challenges, especially when it comes to education. For many waiting children, their schooling has been disrupted multiple times as they’ve moved between foster homes, school districts, and curriculums. This constant instability, coupled with the lack of a consistent advocate, often results in educational delays. As you welcome your child into your family, a new challenge lies ahead: building trust while ensuring they receive the academic support they need to succeed.
I love to say that I’m from Fort Worth, Texas, even though I only lived here for two weeks after I was born. Another thing I love to tell people is that I was found in a newspaper. This one always throws people off and then I have to explain that my parents placed an ad in various newspapers stating that they were looking to adopt, and that I wasn’t actually found wrapped up in the newspaper. After speaking, briefly, with different birth mothers and birth fathers, my dad spoke with my birth mother who was willing to travel to Texas to finish out her pregnancy and place her baby (me) for adoption. At this point neither my birth parents nor adoptive parents knew if they would be matched with one another or with other families, BUT… they ended up being matched and now I have one giant family.
