We have spent time with Luke on several occasions. The first time was almost 5 years ago. Each time we have seen him we have written words like "sweet, gentle, thoughtful, and cooperative" in our notes about him.

Meet Holden!

Posted by nancyr3901 on 5/20/16 4:30 AM
Holden was one of the younger kids the advocacy team got to meet. He seemed very excited to meet us and explore all the toys we brought with us. He played a little bit with play doh, being very fascinated with how it felt in his hands. His favorite toy was a little recorder that would play music and had a microphone to sing along with it. He loved showing off his skills and showing others how to use it, especially those on the advocacy team. He did not hesitate to plop on our laps and sing along to a song on the recorder. He, also, enjoyed reading some books and was having fun pointing and laughing at the pictures. And boy can his laughter spill over and be contagious.

He sat back most of the morning and just seemed to take everything all in and check us out it was not until after lunch he opened up.

An Update On... HARPER

Posted by nancyr3901 on 5/18/16 12:30 PM
Harper is another little girl the advocacy trip got to meet. She was very shy the first day the team was with her and it might have been because her foster mom was with her the whole time. You could tell she was very attached to her foster mom, hugging and sitting on her lap almost the whole day. Her foster mom did tell us that she is a nice, sweet girl who can write with both her left and right hands. She added that she is very independent and a happy little girl.
