| As the Gladney Superkids Team of Volunteers gets ready to travel to Florida this weekend to volunteer at the 2022 Special Olympics USA Games, I was thrilled to be contacted by an adoptive father asking for a photo of a child in China to advocate for while running in an upcoming triathlon. Meet Ryan! Ryan will celebrate his 7th birthday soon. Ryan is an active young boy with a ready smile. We hear he has a positive attitude towards life and gets along very well with others. It is easy to make friends with Ryan, and you can often find others sharing their toys and food with him.

Jace is a healthy, 10-year-old boy who will celebrate his 11th birthday soon! Jace was over 4 years old when he arrived at the welfare institute. His file contains brief updates on his progress from every 6-months since his arrival.

Chance is a healthy and outgoing 10-year-old boy. He is fond of swinging on a swing, singing, dancing, and playing badminton. Chance gets along well with his peers and is very willing to participate in classroom activities. He attends school and is fond of learning English. It is easy for Chance to express his emotions and he can calm himself down and be reasoned with when he is upset.

Meet Scarlett! Scarlett is 10 years old with a bright, sunny, and contagious smile. She is a very personable child and has a strong acceptability of others. Scarlett likes being outside and staying active. She enjoys skipping rope, playing basketball, and hula-hooping. Wait until you see her videos! She has great control of her body movements and can show off her fine and gross motor skills through arts and crafts.

Meet Sullivan! Sullivan recently celebrated his 11th birthday. His file describes him as ‘a handsome and sunshine boy’. What a compliment!
Last year while in the first grade, Sullivan was selected to be the classroom monitor and he continues to maintain excellent school records. He loves to run and his favorite activity is skipping rope! Sullivan gets along very well with his classmates and his physical and intellectual development is comparable to other 11-year-old children.
