As the Gladney Superkids Team of Volunteers gets ready to travel to Florida this weekend to volunteer at the 2022 Special Olympics USA Games, I was thrilled to be contacted by an adoptive father asking for a photo of a child in China to advocate for while running in an upcoming triathlon. He and his daughter are proudly wearing Gladney Superkids t-shirts!

Six Days Before Turning 18

Late last year, WFAA shared a wonderful update in their Wednesday's Child segment. Eric, a 17-year-old boy in foster care, was featured in October 2019. That appearance inspired a Gladney Family to take action. By November, just six days before his 18th birthday, Eric officially became a member of their family.

Four Amazing Siblings! {Taiwan}

Big sister… oh you could see the love 10 year old May shared with her siblings. It was also very obvious that she had mothering characteristics – she would guide her siblings through the activities. She is quiet, yet sweet. As with a lot of older sisters, she seems very mature for her age. She beamed with a beautiful smile.

Mikey {Taiwan}

Woosh… there goes Mikey! In like a flash! Straight for the climber… This little guy has lots of energy. Clever little fella too, he figured out he was able to climb faster and better without his socks. So off came the socks and up he went. The other children watched in amazement as he made the climb look easy.
