Aleda Madison's journey in adoption advocacy began in 1981 when she founded MAA after facing her own challenges with infertility and domestic adoption. As both a foster and adoptive mother, she understands the emotional toll that comes with adoption and the process. Her personal experience with adopting her two sons, Michael and Christopher, from Colombia fueled her passion for helping other families navigate the complex adoption process.

Over the years, Aleda has facilitated countless adoptions from various countries around the world. Her hands-on approach, whether providing expert counsel to legal professionals or traveling abroad to meet children in need of forever homes, has changed the lives of thousands of families.

Aleda’s Legacy: A Lasting Impact on Adoption

Aleda Madison’s legacy goes beyond the thousands of families she has helped through Madison Adoption Associates (MAA). Her dedication to creating pathways for children to find loving families began over 40 years ago, but her work continues to inspire and impact the adoption community. Through her leadership, MAA has grown into a trusted agency, facilitating adoptions both internationally and domestically.
