Florida is a state known for its warmth—not just in its sunshine, but in its people. From the vibrant streets of Miami to the quiet beaches of the Gulf Coast, families here understand the value of community and connection. This summer, families in Florida, New Jersey, Illinois, Missouri, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Utah have a unique opportunity to open their homes and hearts through the Superkids Adventure Program—a program designed to meet the needs of children from Colombia, the Philippines, and Taiwan who are waiting for a sense of belonging and stability.
Applications are now open, but spots are limited—Apply today to secure your place and be part of this meaningful experience.
Meeting Children Where They Are
Children participating in the Superkids Adventure Program have experienced more waiting than any child should. Many have been in care systems for years, not because they lack value or potential, but because they are older, part of a sibling group, or have minor medical needs. These children, ranging from school-age to teens, are eager for something many of us take for granted: the simple, everyday rhythms of family life.
For 2–3 weeks, these children will stay with approved families in the U.S., giving them the chance to experience what it feels like to be part of a family—whether that means joining in on a backyard barbecue, feeling included in a family game night, or simply having someone ask about their day. While they gain these experiences, families have the chance to learn about each child’s unique story, personality, and culture.
This is not about rescuing—it’s about recognizing a child’s needs and offering an environment where they can thrive, even if only for a short time.
Why Florida Families Are the Right Fit
Florida families know how to embrace diversity, celebrate culture, and make people feel at home. Throughout Florida, whether in Orlando, Tampa, Jacksonville, or Miami, families have a chance to create spaces where children from Colombia, the Philippines, and Taiwan feel safe, supported, and seen.
Through the Superkids Adventure Program, families can:
This program isn’t about being perfect—it’s about being present. It’s about giving children the chance to be themselves, even if just for a few weeks, and showing them that they matter.
How to Participate
Families from Florida, New Jersey, Illinois, Missouri, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Utah who have completed a Hague-compliant home study are eligible to participate. The children in the program are from Colombia, the Philippines, and Taiwan, and all are eligible for international adoption.
The program helps both families and children explore potential long-term connections, but even if adoption isn’t the outcome, families play an essential role in advocating for each child’s future.
For 2–3 weeks, participating families will:
This program also allows Gladney's team to better understand each child’s needs, making it easier to find the right permanent family for them in the future.
Don’t Miss Out—Spots Are Filling Fast!
Every year, only a select number of children are brought to the U.S. through the Superkids Adventure Program, and spots for participating families fill quickly. The chance to make meaningful connections, share cultural experiences, and support a child’s journey toward a permanent home doesn’t come around often.
Applications are open now, but won’t be for long.

The Moments That Matter Most
Imagine a child experiencing the magic of Disney for the first time, feeling the sand between their toes on a Florida beach, or laughing with newfound friends during a family dinner. These moments may seem small, but for a child who has spent years waiting, they are transformative.
This summer, children will arrive in Florida, hoping to find connection, stability, and belonging. Will your family be part of their journey?
