The 2025 SuperKids Adventure Program in Texas
Everything is bigger in Texas—including the generosity of its families. Across the Lone Star State, families are opening their homes and hearts to children in need of connection and belonging.
This summer, the SuperKids Adventure Program is coming to Texas, offering children from Latin America and Asia the chance to experience daily life with a family for two to three weeks. These children, ranging from school-aged to teens, are waiting for permanent adoptive families. During their stay, they will build relationships, experience new traditions, and share meaningful moments with their families.
Families outside of Texas can also participate in the 2025 SuperKids Adventure Program. Applications are open for families in Florida, Illinois, Missouri, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Utah.
Waiting children who are eligible for international adoption from Taiwan, Colombia, the Philippines, and more are excited to participate in the program with your family.
Why The Program Matters
Many of the children in this program have been waiting longer than most for adoptive families. Some have minor medical needs, are part of a sibling group, or are simply older—factors that often make it harder to find a permanent family. This program provides them with the opportunity to be seen, known, and advocated for.
By welcoming a child into your home, you’re offering them an experience of connection, stability, and care. For many children, the relationships formed during this program play a key role in finding the right adoptive family.
What to Expect
Families who participate in the SuperKids Adventure Program will:
- Welcome a waiting child into their home for two to three weeks from
- Provide a supportive and structured environment
- Learn about the child’s culture while sharing their own
- Partner with Gladney staff to advocate for the child’s permanent adoption
Many families who have participated in the program have chosen to adopt, while others have played a vital role in helping a child find their forever family through advocacy. Every family’s journey is unique, but all make a lasting impact.
