This is Harrison!

Find me on:
Harrison was another boy the advocacy team got to meet. He was a calm sweet guy. He was easy going and relaxed. He was easy to play with and talk to.

He enjoyed the activities the advocacy team brought but preferred to stick to the toys that were more age appropriate for him. When he saw that some Legos were brought to play with and was given a box, he beamed from ear to ear. He tore open the package and only needed a little help to get started. He quickly caught on that the instructions were just following the pictures and had his put together in no time.

But it was game over when he started playing with one of the advocacy’s cell phone. He was showed a few apps and then like any other boy would not put it down. He was so thrilled to use and show off what he could do with it.

After lunch the team told the Christmas tree tradition and then a tree was put up and decorated. He bounced right in and had so much helping decorate the tree, being very meticulous where he should place his ornament.

We asked Harrison a few questions and this is how he responded. His favorite color is blue. His favorite animal is a monkey. He is not sure if he likes cats or dogs. He really likes soccer and basketball. He can count from 1 to 10 in English. His favorite subject is PE. Our best response yet to a question when asked “why do you want to get adopted” he replied “because staying in China is boring.”

Harrison is 9 years old and has Thalassemia. He receives blood transfusions every 2 months.

Harrison is a friendly funny guy. Could this tech boy be your son?
