As we close out 2024, the Gladney Center for Adoption reflects on a year filled with unforgettable events, meaningful milestones, and unwavering support from our community. Here’s a look back at some of the highlights that made this year so special:

January: We kicked off the year by welcoming Madison Adoption Associates to the Gladney team. This fresh perspective and dedication to international adoption have already left a mark, setting a positive tone for the months ahead.

February: Our Oklahoma family came together for “Boots and Beauties” a daddy-daughter dance celebrating adoption and fostering connections in the community.

March: AdoptED expanded its reach by becoming a staple in Arkansas schools. Through engaging curriculum, students learned about the beauty and impact of adoption.

April: Families gathered for a day of fun at Six Flags, capped off with the debut of a new Heart Gallery exhibit, showcasing children waiting to find their forever families.

May: The Gladney Playroom and Studio G underwent stunning transformations, thanks to Ikea’s generous makeover. These spaces now inspire creativity and joy for children and families alike.

June: Gladney's hosting program sponsored summer vacations and smiles to children waiting for adoption as they enjoyed enriching experiences across the US and created cherished memories.

July: Lowe’s joined the mission by giving Gladney’s backyard a makeover. This refreshed outdoor space has become a haven for connection and play--especially for our residents in the Gladney Home.

August: Adoptees gathered for Camp Forge, where they built lifelong bonds and explored their unique adoption journeys in a supportive environment.

September: North Texas Giving Day highlighted our continued growth, with generous supporters helping us expand our international adoption programs.

October: Families celebrated finalization milestones during Gladney Adoption Day, a heartwarming reminder of the lifelong impact adoption has on parents and children alike.

November: Team Gladney made waves in New York City, raising $35,000 while running in the NYC Marathon. Their dedication inspired supporters across the nation.

December: We wrapped up the year by spreading holiday cheer, ensuring every child and family felt the warmth and love of the season. The Heart Gallery of North Texas hosted holiday parties for local children in foster care that left families feeling the joy and magic of the season.
