Sully is ready for a family—one that will see his strengths, cherish his quiet spirit, and cheer him on through life’s little milestones. He’s waiting with hope, and we’re searching with purpose. The right family will recognize how extraordinary he is and offer the steady love and encouragement he deserves.
Could that be you?
Sully is a gentle, humble, and hardworking boy who has settled in well with his foster family. Described as neat, shy, pure, and good, he approaches everything he does with a serious and thoughtful attitude. He studies hard and takes pride in his schoolwork, recently ranking 6th out of 121 students and earning an Excellent Academic Award! In most subjects, he scores an impressive 95 out of 100. If you want to find him at recess, check out some quiet areas where he might be reading a book or doing homework.
Sully is generally emotionally stable and considered easy to care for. He’s built strong connections with his foster family and enjoys their company. He sleeps with a teddy bear from one of his foster family’s sons.
Running is one of his favorite activities; he recently won a 30-meter race at school. He also likes riding his bike (with training wheels), hiking, playing badminton, building with blocks, and watching cartoons. His favorite foods include broccoli, instant noodles, sushi, and McDonald’s, but if you try to slip in eggplant, beans, green onions, or mushrooms, he will track down every bit of it and fish it out immediately.
Sully has been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, and it’s clear that he processes the world in his own meaningful way. He thrives with routines, takes pride in doing tasks with care, and finds comfort in quiet spaces where he can read or reflect. His foster family has noted his emotional steadiness and sensitivity, and describes him as a child who is pure-hearted and deeply thoughtful. With patient guidance and a consistent environment, Sully continues to grow in confidence and independence—showing that children with autism, when understood and supported, have so much to offer.
A true introvert, Sully needs a bit of encouragement to greet people, but don’t mistake that for bad manners, as he’s quite the little gentleman!
Sully’s family should be ready to continue to embrace his gentle spirit and support him as he achieves everything that he wants. They should take him to go running and hiking and feed him all his favorite foods—maybe just without the beans.
