Alvin is a helpful 10-year-old who enjoys going to school, watching cartoons, and playing in the water. We have extensive videos of Alvin that show him performing multiple tasks. Recently, he helped a stall owner sell her mushrooms at the market. He was able to give correct change to the customers, helped the owner keep her goods tidy, and helped put them all away when the stall closed. Alvin did an excellent job and exercises like this boost his confidence when he performs well! Alvin is also very good at putting things together like blocks and Legos. You must see his videos! Alvin has delayed language development, so therefore needs very clear instructions to process incoming information and instructions correctly. He currently receives extra Mandarin classes at school and continued language therapy will be beneficial for Alvin. Recently however, Alvin has been doing well writing in complete sentences and is showing improvements.
Albert will celebrate his 9th birthday soon! Albert is described as a generous child who likes to share what he has with others. He has a sense of humor, is talkative, and gets excited to see new people. He has very good self-care skills and is able to finish his homework on his own, with occasional reminders. Albert is great at drawing, coloring, and crafting! He takes drawing classes at an art studio every week. He also enjoys designing maze puzzles. During a development assessment in 2016, Albert was suspected of having autism, but this doesn’t seem to interfere with his daily life. For more information, please request to review his profile.
Alvin and Albert have been living in separate foster homes for years. Although they live separately, they see each other every 2-3 weeks. Alvin and Albert get along well with each other and enjoy playing together. Out of the best interest for the boys, we hope they can be adopted together.
