Brianna
PARENT QUOTE
In March of 2002, a precious baby girl from China was placed in our arms. I remember how excited we were to see the nannies arrive at the hotel with the babies. We did not recognize Brianna at first since she had changed dramatically since her picture was sent to us. It was an exciting, life-changing moment that still brings tears to my eyes. The joy that began that day has continued to multiply throughout the subsequent 17 years. I can't wait to see what God has in store for the next chapter of our lives.
FROM THE GRADUATE
Having a caring, supporting, and loving family has helped me become a responsible, respectful, and caring young woman. Being adopted has afforded me opportunities to participate in school, church, and community activities. It has also given me the opportunity to choose a future career. I have always loved taking care of kids and helping others, so my next step is to pursue a career as a pediatric nurse.
ABOUT BRIANNA
Brianna was active in her church youth group and served on five mission trips. She was chosen to serve on the Youth Leadership Committee in her community where she learned new skills and information about community service. In addition to the 200 hours of mission trips, she completed more than 200 hours of community service by helping in day care, doctor's offices, and a local hospital. She was a member of the high school dance team and participated in HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America). She plans to attend a community college where she will pursue a career in nursing.
