Liana-2022

Parent Quote

Liana-2022Adoption creates family. We had waited a long time to meet our daughter. We had a name, and nursery, and bought new dresses for her. Once she was placed in our arms, we felt blessed, excited, and nervous simultaneously. We had become parents, her parents. It was love at first sight, knowing that God had chosen her just for us. She’s brought so much joy into our lives, more than anyone could ever imagine. She fit right into our Italian American backgrounds with her love of family and food. “Faith is trusting in what you can’t see”

From the Graduate

Hi! My name is Liana, and I was adopted from China at a very young age. I consider myself so lucky to be adopted by the best parents. Being adopted taught me how to embrace my ethnicity while staying true to my Italian family’s roots. Adoption has become a part of my identity and who I am. I’ve learned the meaning of familial love and how to celebrate what makes people unique and special. Adoption is something that has never held me back, it made me strive toward success.

Liana is striving for a career in sports and is working to graduate with her master's in Sports Business Management next year.
