Parent Quote

Elizabeth_Baby_2As a Gladney baby myself (Pam), I grew up with the assurance a mother's love does not depend on biology. When we brought our daughter Elizabeth home from China, I experienced that firsthand. From the first, I realized how much I loved her: enough to leave my family behind and fly halfway around the world to get her; enough to stand before the judge on adoption day and promise to be her family forever. Elizabeth may not be our child by blood, but that does not make her any less OURS. She's simply our daughter, which guarantees her all that every daughter should have: the love of this family, a place in this family, and a future inheritance from this family. Our family has come to see adoption as the perfect picture of God’s love.

From the Graduate

Gladney provided me with my "forever" family and a happy home. I'm so thankful for my family, who have always loved and supported me. Without Gladney, I would not be who I am today, because my family helped make me the woman I have become. I would not change a thing about my life. I am so thankful there are families willing to adopt children and raise them as their own.

About Elizabeth

Elizabeth was involved in competitive cheerleading and the high school dance team and was presented as a Waco Symphony Council Symphony Belle. She has traveled extensively, including mission trips as far away as England. After graduation, Elizabeth will attend Abilene Christian University on a Dean's Award for Academic Excellence scholarship. There she will prepare for a career in the health care profession.
