Our adoption journey has been the biggest blessing of our lives! The first picture we saw of Gabriella was very emotional!! She was so tiny, and we knew instantly that she was meant to be our daughter. Placement day was full of nerves, excitement and anticipation to meet our daughter for the first time. The first time we held her we felt a flood of emotions: so much love, instantly connected, protective, thankful, and incredibly blessed. She was ours forever!!

From the Graduate

Being adopted has saved my life in so many ways. Adoption means so much to me, I can’t imagine where I would be without my adoptive parents. Being adopted comes up a lot when I tell someone my story, adoption is a part of my story. People are curious about adoption and tend to ask lots of questions; although it is super overwhelming, I enjoy answering them. Adoption has also shaped me into who I am today. I love kids so much and want to either become a teacher or a case worker.

About Gabriella

Gabriella has been a competitive ice skater for 10 years now. She won first and second place many times and continues to take lessons and compete. She plans to coach in the upcoming year. In addition, she was a serious competitive cheer leader, and cheered for her school; she has cheered for six years now and plans to cheer in college. Gabriella was also a part of concert choir and the acapella group in high school. Gabriella is attending college in the fall. She is majoring in early childhood education and minoring in special education.
