MATCHED!!

Aden is a super sweet, almost-4-year-old little boy.  Aden has a gentle personality and enjoys playing with other kids. He is not afraid of strangers and is willing to actively interact with others. After watching how to correctly play on the jungle gym, Aden was able to do so, and especially enjoys playing on the slides! Aden is not a confrontational child, so if he gets bullied by other children, he seeks comfort and cuddling from his caregiver.

Aden has learned to dress himself in pants, socks, and shoes, yet still requires a little help with his shirts. Those can be tricky to get on the right way! He is currently being potty trained and is able to hold his urine during wake hours. Aden eats three daily meals in addition to a glass of milk after his nap. We hear Aden dislikes green vegetables but enjoys fruit, noodles, bread, and rice. Aden falls asleep by himself and is a sound sleeper throughout the night.

Aden was born prematurely and suffers severe hearing loss. As of March 2020, he began wearing hearing aids. Aden likes all different kinds of toys and will often make loud noises without awareness due to his hearing disability. Aden shows some developmental delay, which is likely due to his hearing loss. His self-care skills and gross motor skills generally correspond to other children in his same age group, whereas he needs extra fine motor skills practice due to the lack of living experience and exposure he had early on. Despite his lack of language expression, Aden's caregiver is able to understand his expressions most of the time.

This darling little boy needs a loving, forever family. If you are interested in learning more about sweet Aden, please contact superkids@gladney.org for more information! Also, be sure to join our Taiwan Waiting Child Advocacy group on Facebook to see more of his adorable photos and cute smile.
