Jackson - Bright Futures 2021`

Parent Quote

Jackson - Bright Futures 2021We met Jackson when he was just 5 months old. We had flown to Russia to meet him only to find out that the baby home had had an outbreak of chicken pox. We did have the opportunity to meet Jackson but he was not feeling well. Because he was sick, it did delay our second trip, but we were undeterred .. We knew this was our boy. We went back four months later and finalized the adoption. Looking back our first Gladney meeting regarding adoption took place around the time that Jackson was born. Little did we know that nine months later we would be finalizing our adoption in Russia. We were overjoyed and overwhelmed but completely smitten with him. We wouldn't change a thing. We love you, Jackson, and are so proud to be your parents!

From the Graduate

I've always known that I was adopted. From a very early age, my parents were open about where I was born and when I was adopted. To me, I don't really think about being adopted or that I'm different than any other person. However, when I do, I think it's pretty cool.

About Jackson

Jackson played basketball and was a member of the stage crew for the Performing Arts Club at Dallas Academy. He was also a member of FCA, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, during his time at Dallas Academy. He transferred to Fusion Academy Plano his junior year and will be graduating from there. He also has been a member of the Young Men's Service League (YMSL) from his freshmen through senior years of high school.
