We met Jordan when she was 27 hours old but due to unforeseen circumstances had to delay placement for several days. The Transitional Care Mom sent us pictures in the meantime, but we could not wait to take our daughter home! We were so excited when Placement Day finally arrived. It was such a happy occasion but a bit surreal! We had waited so long for this day and were so happy, but despite all the waiting and all the ups and downs, we couldn’t believe we showed up with a car seat and left with a baby girl!
From the Graduate
Being adopted has been an incredible journey for me and my family. I am grateful for the opportunities adoption has granted me all through the years. My mom and dad are the two greatest role models I could have asked for. My birth mother chose to place me for adoption so I would have the best chance for an incredible life. Adoption is the reason my family exists, and it's such a beautiful creation. I am excited to further my education at Texas State University and can't wait to see what the future holds!!
