The day Kaitlyn was born we were both excited and nervous. We knew she had to have a surgical procedure right after she was born. So, we were able to be at the hospital on that day. The first time we held her was the most amazing feeling we’d ever experienced. To think this beautiful baby was ours. Because of the procedure we didn’t have placement for 3 weeks. We anxiously awaited that day. When it finally arrived the feeling, we had when Kaitlyn was put in our arms was the greatest feeling we could imagine. To know we would have the privilege of raising this beautiful girl was amazing.

From the Graduate

To me adoption is a chance at true love and happiness. Knowing that there is a family out there that is ready to welcome you with open arms and show you unconditional love is an amazing thing. Having a support system there for you through whatever life may throw at you really makes you feel like you are right where you’re supposed to be.

About Kaitlyn

During high school, Kaitlyn was very involved in choir, which allowed her to travel to Italy, Nashville, Arkansas, Kansas City, and many other places. She loves laughing, listening to music, and spending time with friends and family. She plans to attend the University of Oklahoma in the fall and major in interior design with a minor in business.
