Nervous and Excited! Excited and Nervous! We couldn't wait to get to placement and bring Katelyn home! Our families gathered at our house while we drove to Gladney. Katelyn's birth parents walked in with our bundle of joy. We cried, we took pictures, and all were overwhelmed with emotion! When we got home the yard was decorated and all our family were there to welcome Katelyn home!

I feel so loved and fortunate to be adopted. My family is amazing, and I have had an exceptional 17 years! Being adopted has given me a new appreciation for my family and friends. I am excited to attend college to live my best life!
ABOUT KATELYN
Katelyn was honored to be a cheerleader all four years of high school. As a varsity cheerleader, she competed on the Game Time UIL Squad and the team placed in the top ten in California, Fort Worth, and Galveston finals. Katelyn loves children and is an active volunteer in the PALS program (Peer Assistance Leadership Service). Katelyn enjoyed Young Life, volunteering, and was involved in Catholic Church activities.
