Parent Quote

Lauren_BabyOn Feb 17, 2003, I went to court in Pskov, Russia. It was a unique experience on its own. The environment was a little scary because of the prisoners, but also because of the impact the decision of the day would have on my life and my future daughter. She was 18 months old and had the biggest blue eyes. Ten days later, on the overnight train to Moscow, I was told she would sleep on the bed across from me and wouldn’t fall. Instead, she slept the in my bed and I stayed awake!

From the Graduate

To me adoption is something I embrace. It is crazy how someone adopting me when I was 18 months old, bringing me across the world and into a loving family would change my life forever. Adoption is a thing to always celebrate and will always be celebrated in my family. I hope that in the future I can make a difference in the life of others.
