Parent Quote
We felt a kaleidoscope of emotions the first time we saw Lukas. He was brought out to us in the hospital waiting room shortly after he was born. We were excited, grateful, scared, and anxious. After the first few months, the fear and anxiety subsided, and the excitement and gratitude grew. We were thankful that we had been entrusted with this young soul and we were eager to watch him grow.
From the Graduate
Adoption means love; love by your birth parents and your legal parents. Giving up a child for adoption is not always easy, but you sacrifice your love to let your child have a better and more fulfilling life. Gladney gave me a chance to be adopted and loved by a family who was ready for a child to love, who maybe was not able to have kids. Adoption has shown me love and how to love others, even if I cannot help them directly, I can always find another way to help.
