We are so excited to introduce Kole! Kole is an adorable 2 and a half-year-old boy who we recently had the pleasure of meeting during our virtual Superkids trip. If you want to learn more, don't forget to tune in for our Facebook live presentation of him on Thursday, April 8th!

Kole was in great spirits and very talkative during our Zoom call with him. He enjoyed building a tall tower by stacking blocks and laughed and said ‘uh-oh’ when they toppled over. Kole typically speaks in sentences of 3-5 words. He is able to recognize many different animals, draw a circle, run and jump on two feet, lace beads on a string, throw a ball, and much more, all indicating that his gross and fine motor skills are developing timely and age appropriately. He likes to play house and enjoys toy cars. While he seemed to be quite social with us, we are told that Kole typically plays by himself and will imitate peers when around them. He is not a picky eater, and he picked the blue toy when we asked his favorite color.

Kole has congenital cataracts in both eyes and an assessment in September of 2020 showed mixed developmental delay & short attention span, although we find it common for two-year-old’s to be easily distracted. Kole receives occupational, physical, and speech therapies each once per week. Kole has the cutest smile and blew us a kiss bye-bye when it was time to go.

We have much more information on Kole so please contact superkids@gladney.org  for more information! Also, be sure to join our Taiwan Waiting Child Advocacy group on Facebook to see his adorable photos and videos! Could your family be the one he needs?
