MATCHED!!

I could tell by her pictures that she was super cute and had a big personality, but I'm not sure I was prepared for just how sweet little Melody actually is in person! I love meeting children that I've read about and seeing their little personalities out-shine anything that could be written about them.

Melody is 5 years old and has low vision in her right eye. She functions very well in spite of this. Her fine and gross motor skills are excellent for her age. She seems to have some cognitive delays, but it is difficult to tell to what extent with the limited amount of time we spent with her. She certainly has a good imagination and absolutely loved the doll we had with us. She changed her diaper, fed her a bottled, and rocked and sang her to sleep. She loved the doll so much we gave it to her at the end of her time with us.
