As soon as I saw Nadia's picture, I knew she was meant to be our daughter. The sparkle in her eyes and the smile on her face stuck with me until we could get to Russia to meet her. When the Russian judge approved our adoption, we felt such joy knowing that our family was complete.

From the Graduate

Adoption means everything to me because it has given me the life I have. Growing up knowing I was adopted made me appreciate things more. I often think about what I have versus what I could've had in Russia and I am grateful I am here. Knowing I was chosen has motivated me to take advantage of the opportunities I am given.

About Nadia

Nadia is graduating from Flower Mound High School where she has participated in choir all four years. She loves to sing and has participated in solo and ensemble competitions as well as Region Choir. She also enjoys painting and reading. She will be attending the University of North Texas where she hopes to continue singing.
