One of the things that happens as a child advocate is that you fall in love with certain children. Remy is one of those. I met him several times back when superkids was visiting China frequently. He is cute and funny and quickly picks up on things even when you don't speak the same language. Act it out once or twice and Remy has got it!

We wrote posts about him back then and have periodically checked the shared list for his file since. But files can be hard to keep track of. Anyway, suffice it to say, the last time we checked for his file it was there and we requested that it be moved to Gladney's list. I have a good feeling about this! Wouldn't it be amazing if this would be Remy's time to have a family!?

Remy will be 13 soon, meaning he has just over a year to be adopted before he ages out according to Chinese law. He has mild weakness on his left side. He walks and jumps and runs. He can throw and catch balls. So you can see the weakness doesn't really slow him down!

We are asking for an update on Remy, the last time I saw him he was 11, so I'm sure he has changed some. But he is still the smart, sweet little guy who needs a family to take a chance on him! Please contact us at superkids@gladney.org for more information.
