We were in our hotel in Nanchang less than two hours when we heard the babies were there! Excitement puts it mildly! They came to our room and told us to go to the elevators. We were finally getting to meet our daughter! The elevator doors opened and there were three beautiful, precious, Chinese babies with their caregivers! We recognized Shannon right away! She came right to us, looked back at her caregiver but never cried or reached to go back. It’s been an amazing journey and she has been such a wonderful blessing to our family.

As a Gladney Baby, I feel especially blessed to have my family. I have grown up in such a loving and supportive family who have given me so many amazing opportunities and encouraged me in my many ambitions. I am forever thankful to Gladney for connecting me with my family and I’m looking forward to the next chapter of my life.

ABOUT SHANNON

Shannon plans on attending college in the fall, majoring in biology. She would like to pursue medicine and become a doctor. Shannon is looking forward to college and all it has to offer. She is excited for the future and is thankful to have her family by her side along the way.
