MATCHED!!
This just in! Gladney's Superkids team is very excited to announce that we have just received significant updates to sibling group Kelly and Ken's files! In addition to these updates, we also have extensive photos and videos of Kelly and Ken that show their personalities, performing tasks that capture their fine and gross motor abilities, playing games with each other, and much, much more!
Since Kelly and Ken's last advocacy posts, we have learned a lot more about them. As you already know, eight-year-old Kelly is a lively and energetic young girl. She does well in school and gets mostly A's and B's on her report cards. Our updates still reflect these traits and demonstrate even more clearly how smart, curious, and caring she truly is. Kelly has no medical needs and appears to be doing well developmentally.
Six-year-old Ken is considerate and helpful, and very caring towards younger children. He likes to share with others and has made many good friends at kindergarten. He currently follows instructions well at school and at his foster home. Our updates note that even though Ken has some developmental delays, he still attends a mainstream kindergarten class. He is currently receiving weekly occupational and language therapies at school to address his developmental delays.
Kelly and Ken are currently placed in separate foster homes. They occasionally meet together - so far only twice this year. Kelly is very caring towards her brother and loves teaching and helping him with new things. Our latest report told us that when Ken fell down during their previous siblings meeting, Kelly was right by his side with a warm embrace, ready to comfort him. How sweet! Ken is especially excited when he gets to see his older sister, as he is very fond of her.
