Our hearts melted the first time we met Sydney. She was less than 24-hours old. We took her home two days later. On the drive home, I remember watching her sleep and thinking how much I love her and how perfect she is. It was hard to believe that the baby we had waited for the last several months was finally with us. One memory I have of Finalization Day is that the judge stopped a hearing in family court so that he could finalize the adoption. He took a picture with us and commented how pretty Sydney’s dress was.

ABOUT SYDNEY

Sydney will be attending Texas State University. She plans to major in psychology.
