Utilizing Social Media to Help Pay for Your Adoption Journey

The process of adopting can be stressful on you and your family. However, the cost shouldn’t be something that deters you. One way to raise money is through social media posts and crowdfunding. This might be one of the simplest ways to raise money, with little to no costs to you. Each fundraising campaign can utilize social media in some way.

There are thousands of families out there who have been in the same position you are. In fact, there are many different Facebook pages dedicated to families that are hoping to be formed through adoption. Posting a heartfelt paragraph about why adoption is so important to you and your personal story will go a long way with your family, friends, and even strangers. In addition, make sure to include photos of your current family so people can see the face behind the story. A video blog post is an excellent way to tell your story on a more personal level.

You are not alone in navigating the financial aspect of adoption. Sharing your story with the world is courageous. You will find that there are many people out there who have shared similar emotions, experiences, and stories. You will find that many of them will help you on your journey, if you simply tell your story.
