Being adopted has always made me feel unique. It’s something I’ve shared freely and have never been ashamed of. Now that I am closer to the age of my birth mother, I realize how incredibly selfless and brave she was to place me with a forever family. I am grateful for her and my family.

Zachary participated in band and theater in high school. He plans to attend a four-year university, join the marching band, and major in Strategic Communications. He hopes to use his skills to make a positive impact on the environment.
